Arty Plans to come

While we get dramatic at 'Simon Smith Saves the Circus' our marvellous school production directed by the talented Rachel McKay we are finalising the next steps and art installation plans. The gardens are planted up and growing, the compost heaps are crawling with bugs (the good kind) and nature has taken over - for now. This is when us gardeners sit back and enjoy....so in go the benches and picnic blankets for the children to use during lunch.

Here are Rooms 13 and 14 buddies painting and chatting - mostly chatting!
We have started painting the tyres and WOW what a difference colour makes! The children decided to keep it blue and white - our school colours! PROUDLY PAPAMOA PRIMARY!!

The next project- Our FEET FIRST fence! Yes it's an entire fence covered in feet ...well actually jandals, crocs and gumboots. We will be planting in the gumboots and crocs once Mr Mano's class have drilled holes and Mrs McCrackens class have attached them. Watch this space! Also please bring in old jandals, gumboots and crocs.
City Care Tauranga donated old signs from around the community. More recycling going in to the garden! We are going to transform them into a sturdy one of a kind potting table! Hobbs, a grandfather and keen gardener is coming to share his carpentry skills with some of the older children and will help them to build the table. First aiders welcome to join in the fun!
