Planting begins

Yay! Now the fun really starts - we put the plants in! Here are Room 4 and 5 planting peas. Working together to get the spacing just right to make sure they get the maximum out of each plant. We loved that they realised the need for trellis - or something for the plants to grow up. Nothing beats Inquiry learning through hands on discovery - and off they went to design and create recycled trellis. I can't wait to see what they come up with!
Also going in have been strawberries, passion fruit vines, blackberries, lettuce and celery. With a whole lot more space and even more seeds to still go! Room 22 have been making labels for the planting as part of their homework challenge. They are sure to be creative!
